Cooking Course by Dal Roti  – YOU CHOOSE WE TEACH                           

If you want to learn a particular snack or Indian recipe. We are happy to offer one of a kind session for you.Tailor made to suit your needs. Just pay a token money for booking and then discuss the details with the tutor and we shall give you a customised package.

The course would include understanding of basic Indian spices and their use. Vegetarian or non vegetarian snack. Vegetarian or non vegetarian main course with choice of bread or rice dish. An Indian desert ‘kheer’ or ‘halwa’. These are just a guideline, we are happy to customise the menu for you the way you like it.

INDIAN SNACKS

Part Time Weekend Course     

This Indian Cooking Course focuses on learning Indian snacks.Understanding Indian Spices, Their usage, taste and benefits. Live cooking with the students making them understand the basic method and recipe of these traditional snacks.

Indian Snacks

  • Idli (South Indian Delicacy made by steaming- super healthy and low calories.
  • Pakora/ Bhaji (Deep fried onion and spinach pakoras)
  • Chutneys (Accompaniment served with snacks 2 different variations taught)
  • Moong Dal Chilla (A pancake made by lentils, extremely healthy)
  • Samosa (Stuffed with green peas and potatoes)

After the cooking course the students would enjoy all the above mentioned snacks on a sharing basis.

INDIAN VEGETARIAN COOKING COURSE       

 Duration 3.5 hours

Part Time Weekend Course        

Indian Vegetarian Cooking.  Main Course Meal with 5 recipes.:

This Indian Cooking Course focuses on learning how to prepare a proper Indian meal often made for lunch or dinner. The course will include understanding basics of Indian Cooking. Identifying the spices and their general use. Preparing a traditional vegetarian meal and Enjoying the meal on a sharing basis after the class.

The following recipes are going to be taught:

  •  Chapati/paratha
  •  Dal Tadka or Dal Makhani
  •  Kadai Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
  • Cucumber & Tomato Raita (Yoghurt)
  • Veg Pulao (Rice with Vegetables)

Post the course each participant gets a leaflet of recipes and a souvenieur of Indian Spices.
